It's Thursday morning and this week has been a little trying. It's not that my classes have been that bad. In fact, after many of the kids having a week off last week, they've been much more eager to learn and speak again. What's been on my mind has been the problem. You see, I brought Clinton here on the premise that he'd make money (which he is) and that he wouldn't have to teach kindergarten except for the first month. Now Matt's in the middle of renegotiating his contract and announced he will not teach kindergarten anymore. I should have put a no-kinder clause in Clinton's contract, like I have in mine, but didn't really think it was neccesary, as Choi told me he'd be teaching afternoon classes. Now, with Matt laying things out on the table, they're basically telling Clinton that he'll be teaching kinder until at least march. I know he doesn't like it and it makes me mad that I didn't protect him more. I guess I just took Choi a little too much at his word. There's not really anything that I can do about it now, but I still feel bad, especially seeing Clinton frustrated.
